What’s new
What we’ve shipped lately — new ways to find a night out, and new tools for the hosts who run them.
October 2026
Price a ticket by what buyers pay, or by what you get
Each ticket now shows Buyers pay and You get side by side, in Create and in Edit. Type either one and the other fills in from your fee setting. Tap Free for a $0 ticket.
Schedule a ticket, or sell it in sets
Per ticket: On sale and Sales end set when it can be bought — buyers see when it opens — and Min per order sells it in sets, like a table of 4. In Edit for any event, and in Create for a one-night event.
A weekly night shows once
A night that repeats every week is one tile on the board and on the host's page, marked Weekly. Its event page lists the other dates.
Paste your ticket link, we fill in the rest
Listing an event you sell on Eventbrite, Posh or DICE? Paste the link and tap Fill it in — the title, date, room and flyer come from that page wherever it lists them. Check them, then publish.
Events sold on other sites
A host who sells on Eventbrite, Posh, DICE or Resident Advisor can list the event on OnVybe and keep selling there. The page says where you’ll buy, and its button takes you to that checkout — OnVybe doesn’t sell or charge for those tickets.
Your numbers, against the last stretch
Payouts now shows what you earned, how many guests you had, what you earned per paying guest, and how many had been to one of your events before — over 7, 28 or 90 days, each next to the period before it, with your best day named.
A link for each place you post
Promote → Links gives you a separate link for your Instagram story and bio, TikTok, texts, Facebook and email. Your event's analytics then show which one people came from.
Timed tickets after you publish
Edit event can now add a ticket with an Entry by time, as Create always could: it closes to new buyers and must be scanned in by then. A time after midnight counts as that night. Once people hold the ticket, its time can only move later.
Your event's address follows its name
Rename an event and its web address updates to match. Old links still open it, with any tracking they carried. In the two days before an event, and the two days after you publish it, the address stays put so reminders already sent keep working.
Refunds and disputes on the event screen
Under Sales, your event says “No refunds or disputes” — or counts each when there are some.
Clearer about cancelling
The cancel screen says plainly that OnVybe doesn't message your guests, so you can tell them in the event chat before it closes.
Edit event works with a screen reader
Every field on Edit event now has a name a screen reader can say.
Returning guests
Each event's analytics show how many of its guests had been to one of your earlier events.
Analytics for every event
Open an event to see how people went from viewing to buying, where they came from, tickets by day, arrivals at the door, and how sales are pacing against your last event. While the event is on, it updates every 30 seconds.
A notification for every sale
You get a notification each time someone buys a ticket to your event. Tap it to open that event.
A new host home
What you've earned, your guests, events and followers in one place, with your next event and one tap to payouts, your page, and the door.
September 2026
Notifications, one tap from the top
A bell now sits in the header on your phone, with a count of what is unread. Friend requests, plans, and event updates were two taps away before.
Event pages open faster on a phone
The flyer loads first and the page no longer jumps as it arrives. Measured on a slow connection, the page paints in under a second where it used to take several.
Easier to read
Small text — dates, prices, labels — is a shade brighter across the app so it clears the contrast standard on every surface, and every page has a proper heading outline for screen readers.
Rescheduled events remind you again
When a host moves a date, the reminders for the old date are cleared so the new ones reach you. They used to stay silent after a move.
RSVP for the whole family
Free RSVPs for two or more people go through as a party again. A limit that should never have applied to free tiers was turning a family RSVP into a single ticket.
A new mark
OnVybe has a logo of its own now — in the app icon, the tab, and on tickets.
July 2026
Set up payouts without leaving OnVybe
Connecting your bank to get paid now happens right inside OnVybe. Add your details and confirm your identity in one flow — no getting bounced out to another site.
Cash out before your event
Certified hosts can release their held ticket money ahead of the event instead of waiting for the automatic payout after. Look for Release early in Payouts on your host dashboard.
Discover has a point of view
Discover now leads with the standout event to consider first, and tells you honestly why it's there — how many people are going, whether it's selling fast, or an editor's pick. No invented countdowns.
A real home base
Your profile is now the place everything lives — your next event, your tickets, the venues and hosts you follow, and every host tool, in one screen.
Guest list at the door + comp tickets
Run a door guest list by name with no ticket needed, and send real, scannable comp tickets by email — both from your event's tools.
Pay your promoters automatically
Add a promoter to any event and set their cut — a flat amount or a percent per sale. OnVybe pays them after the event, out of your cut, never added onto the buyer.
Buddy Bundles & “free until” tickets
Sell several tickets in one purchase at a lower per-head price, and set a cutoff on a tier — free RSVP before 10pm, pay at the door after. Your ticket shows the cutoff.
Tickets email the moment you check out
Your ticket and its QR code now arrive by email right after checkout, to any address — no account required.
Ticket sales pay out to your bank
Host ticket money now reaches you automatically. It's held until about a day after the event, then sent to your bank account — the short hold is what lets buyers trust an event they haven't been to yet.
Every event connects to the next
Events, venues, hosts and neighborhoods now link to each other. Tap a neighborhood to see what else is on there; every venue shows its upcoming and past events.
New Orleans venues, on the map
Real venues across the city's neighborhoods are now built in. Pick one when you create an event and it shows up on that venue's own page.
Reset your password
Locked out? “Forgot password?” on the sign-in screen now emails you a reset link.
Cleaner links for events, venues & hosts
Everything now has a clean, shareable link, so anything you send opens straight to the right page.
