Host Agreement

Version 1.0 · Last updated July 10, 2026

This Host Agreement ("Agreement") governs your use of OnVybe as an event organizer ("Host") — anyone who creates, lists, or sells access to events on onvybe.com. It is in addition to our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. By publishing an event or setting up payouts, you agree to this Agreement.

1. Your Event, Your Responsibility

You are solely responsible for your event: delivering it as described, the accuracy of your listing (date, time, venue, lineup, age policy, what a ticket includes), and complying with all applicable laws — including permits, licensing, capacity, safety, and alcohol and age regulations. OnVybe is a technology and payments provider, not the organizer or operator of your event.

2. Honest Listings

You will not misrepresent your event, inflate demand with fake scarcity or fake sales, impersonate another person or brand, or list an event you do not have the rights or intent to hold. Listings that deceive buyers may be removed and may result in withheld payouts.

3. Payments & Payouts

OnVybe processes ticket payments as the merchant of record and pays you your proceeds through Stripe. To receive money you must complete Stripe Connect onboarding, and you agree to the Stripe Connected Account Agreement.

4. Refunds, Cancellations & Chargebacks

You set and must honor a refund policy for your event. You are financially responsible for refunds, chargebacks, and disputes on your sales. You authorize OnVybe to deduct or recover these amounts — including any associated fees — from your held proceeds, from future payouts, or, if necessary, from your connected account or by other lawful means.

If you cancel an event, all buyers will be refunded in full, and any proceeds already paid out to you for that event will be reversed. Excessive cancellations, refunds, or disputes may result in longer holds, withheld payouts, or removal from the platform.

5. Taxes

You are responsible for determining, collecting, and remitting any taxes owed on your events and proceeds. Where required by law, OnVybe or Stripe may collect tax information from you and issue tax forms (such as a Form 1099).

6. Liability & Indemnification

You are liable for your event and everything that happens at it. You agree to indemnify and hold OnVybe harmless from any claims, damages, or costs arising from your event, your listings, your conduct, or your violation of this Agreement or applicable law. We strongly recommend that you carry appropriate event and liability insurance.

7. Suspension & Withheld Payouts

To protect buyers and the platform, OnVybe may hold or withhold payouts, reverse transfers, remove events, or suspend your ability to host if we reasonably suspect fraud, deception, a high dispute rate, or a violation of this Agreement.

8. Changes

We may update this Agreement. Material changes will be reflected by an updated version and date above, and we may ask you to re-accept before continuing to host.
