Promoter Agreement
Version 1.0 · Last updated August 12, 2026
This Promoter Agreement ("Agreement") governs your use of OnVybe as a promoter — anyone who shares a trackable link to someone else's event and may earn a share of the sales it drives. It is in addition to our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. By requesting or accepting a promoter link, you agree to this Agreement.
1. What You Are, and What You Are Not
You promote events you do not run. You are not the organizer, not an employee or agent of OnVybe or of the host, and you have no authority to speak for either. You cannot admit people, change a listing, issue refunds, or make commitments about an event on anyone's behalf. The host is responsible for the event; OnVybe is a technology and payments provider.
2. Honest Promotion
Promote the event as it is actually listed. You will not invent scarcity or demand, promise anything the listing does not include, imply the event is something it is not, or impersonate the host, a venue, an artist, or OnVybe. You will not spam, buy fake engagement, or share your link anywhere it breaks that platform's rules or the law. Deceptive promotion can end your link and any cut attached to it.
3. Your Link and Your Cut
A host sets your rate — a flat amount per ticket or a percentage of the sale — and can change or remove it going forward. Sales already made keep the rate they were made at. Attribution is by last-touch link click and is measured by OnVybe; where attribution is unclear, our records govern.
Your cut is paid out of the host's proceeds. It is never added to what a buyer pays. You may not buy through your own link, and self-attributed sales earn nothing.
4. Getting Paid
To receive money you must have an OnVybe account with Stripe payouts set up. Until you do, anything you earn is recorded and held — it is not lost, but it cannot reach you.
When.Commissions are released after the event has taken place and the related sales have cleared, on the same schedule that governs the host's own proceeds. Nothing is owed to you before then.
Early access. OnVybe may, at its sole discretion, offer some promoters faster or earlier access to earnings, and may charge a fee for it. Eligibility is not guaranteed, is not part of this Agreement, and can be changed or withdrawn at any time.
5. Refunds, Cancellations & Reversals
A commission follows the sale that created it. If a ticket is refunded, disputed, charged back, or the event is cancelled, the commission on it is reversed — including after it has been paid to you.
You authorize OnVybe to recover reversed amounts from earnings you are holding, from future earnings, or, if necessary, from your connected payout account or by other lawful means. OnVybe may also hold earnings while a dispute, chargeback, or suspected fraud is open on the event or on your account.
6. Taxes
Money you earn promoting is your income. You are responsible for determining, reporting, and paying any tax owed on it. Where required by law, OnVybe or Stripe may collect tax information from you and issue tax forms.
7. Liability
You are responsible for how you promote. You agree to indemnify and hold OnVybe harmless from claims, damages, or costs arising from your promotion, your conduct, or your violation of this Agreement or applicable law. OnVybe is not liable for a host cancelling, changing, or under-delivering an event, or for earnings you expected from sales that did not happen.
8. Ending It
A host may remove you from their event at any time; your link stops tracking from that moment, and money you already earned is still owed and still pays out. OnVybe may suspend or remove your ability to promote if we reasonably suspect deception, spam, fraud, a high dispute rate, or a violation of this Agreement. You can stop promoting at any time.
9. Changes
We may update this Agreement. If we make a material change we will ask you to accept the new version before you continue earning. Continuing to use a promoter link after an update means you accept it.
